Whirlpool Tub, Combination Tub, Air Tub INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS and GUIDELINES READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLATION PRE-INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:

WARNING: All units are shipped with loose unions. Before attempting to test, install, or use your whirlpool, all pump and heater unions and “O” rings MUST BE REPOSITIONED AND/OR TIGHTENED.

WARNING: Building materials and wiring should be routed away from the pump body or other heat producing components of the unit or equivalent.

Immediately upon receiving and before signing for your Denver Bathtubs whirlpool bath, inspect it thoroughly for freight damage. If necessary, file a claim for any damage with the carrier. All baths are filled with water and operated in our manufacturing facility prior to shipment. The inspectors ensure watertight operation, however rough handling may cause leaks, which may be detected prior to installation.

TO TEST: PLACE THE TUB IN AN AREA WHERE IT MAY BE DRAINED AFTER TESTING. Fill the tub with water to the overflow and allow to stand for a few minutes. Carefully inspect all fittings and connections for leaks. Then operate the whirlpool and again inspect for leaks. Inspect the tub COMPLETELY. Any defect MUST BE REPORTED to Denver Bathtubs prior to installation in order to have it considered under warranty. Check to ensure that your installation will conform to all applicable codes and secure necessary permits.

All electrical and plumbing connections should be made by qualified plumbers and electricians.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS DURING INSTALLATION WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THE WARRANTY

Do not lift the tub by any portion of the plumbing or pump. Do not stand in the tub during construction. DO NOT MAKE ANY ALTERATIONS, ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE WHIRLPOOL SYSTEM, PUMP OR BATH WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM DENVER BATHTUBS.

WARNING:Whirlpool pump and piping are factory assembled. Relocation of pump or other modifications could adversely affect the performance and safe operation of this whirlpool. Denver Bathtubs shall not be liable under its warranty or otherwise for personal injury or damage caused by such unauthorized modification.

QUIETNESS OF OPERATION: Denver Bathtubs has engineered their whirlpool baths from the base to the lip to ensure quality, value, functional design and maximum bathing comfort. However installations are accountable for as much as 50% of a tub’s operating quietness. Please ensure the following:Verify the floor structure is adequate to support the whirlpool with bather(s).

Insulate the tub surround and leave a dead air space around the pump and tub.

Leave 1/8" to 3/16" gap between tub lip and surround.

Set the tub in non shrinking mortar or plaster
